English Language Challenges

In my case, when I joined the university I started my study of English at level 2, so it has been a lot I have worked learning to master the language, I honestly believe that I had a very good experience in this course in the 3 levels that I was able to attend , I had excellent teachers who always had total disposition to help me and all my colleagues with any doubt we could have.
Personally I think I have much to improve still, because during my first approaches to English during my school period, there were many issues that I did not understand 100% and are mistakes that I usually commit to today, but slowly I pay attention to the Corr Ecciones that the teachers made me during these 3 semesters, I think it is important to improve these confusions that are basic for communication using this language, I would like to improve it by more interactive techniques from now on, by Example start watching movies in English, or continue with the suggestion that the miss made about putting our phone in English, I did and it served me enough to go learning a little more.
I like the topic of writing in blogs every week in the course, as it is a different form and more didactic to practice and also allows us to comment on personal tastes and not on a specific subject obligated.
Out of English classes, I do not usually use English much, are counted with the fingers of a hand the times I have encountered some "gringo" and I have been given instructions in English, usually only use it when I'm watching my phone (which is in English) and C Hen I'm listening to music, in order to understand a little what is being talked about in each of them.
It was a pleasure this semester my course, my teacher is a love, and loves animals so it is considered a sun for my part haha The last blog came flying and I hope someday find this page and laugh at every "Chamullo" I had to put here lol

Changes to my study program.

Hello everyone, I want to tell you that have been difficult weeks, stressful and I'm only a sea of tears in complete frustration, but I must finish English with these last two post: c I also mean that in the 3 English courses, this has been by far the most  Entertaining and understanding of all. Miss I love you and your videos of puppies and kittens Jiji I the issue that I have to talk about today is about the changes I would make to the curriculum of my career. First of all I must say that being very realistic with the demands we have as dental students, would add a year to the official duration of the race, because by the fact that it lasted only 6 years, all the contents are taught very superficially and under A very large pressure that generates that the knowledge is not processed in depth by the students. In this same way, probably the rates of reprobation would decrease a little because by the fact of having so little time, there are very great possibilities that the students do not manage to finish in time all the required procedures. I would also add more hours of practical activity and preparation before entering to work directly with patients, since it is not a game to work with the mouth of living people and it is necessary a very good management of dental techniques. With regard to the infrastructure of the faculty, so that great companions have commented, it would be good to be able to implement a greater number of "box" for the attention of the patients. Fortunately we are a faculty that does not fall apart so the improvements are not so significant. Words and time are very scarce, but the ideas of change are many and it would be good to discuss them in another instance. Best regards!

My next summer holidays

Hi everybody! Today i’m so tired, because the last night i didn’t sleep for my test of bayb (the worst subject in the world), and for that is possible that my blog of today is so bored L
For today, I have to write about my next summer, my plans or ideas for this summer.

First I have to say that im poor, first I need money for all my plans, because I want to go to Chiloé, Concepción and Iquique. For my travel to Chiloe, I going with my Scout group for ten days. The idea is camp in different countries of the island, and travel “to finger”.
In January, my boyfriend is with vacations and we want go to visit your family in Concepción, but the time is short and is only for 3 days, so the idea is going to Chiloe from Concepción. This is a little cheaper for me.
I have family in Iquique, mi big brother with your family lives in Iquique, and all my family want go to visit them, but thanks to god, my mom pay this travel, because if now I’m poor, after of Christmas I’m going to finish sleeping under a bridge.   The idea of this summer is can know in profundity the mysterious of Chiloe, and when you travel with friends, is always more fun and wicked jeje. Other plan for my summer is sleep, sleep, watch series, sleep, and especially sleep. This semester was so terrible, bad dreams, reproved signatures, and cries, so I need sleep. I finish my post of today because I only want my precious bed that is waiting me on my house. So, see you in the next post!

Hello hello everybody! Summer is here! I really love the days with sun, but not with a high sun, just a little like today! So, I’m happy because one of the subjects that I hate finished today, yeeeei.
The topic from today is about a picture, one picture of me, my friends, pets, anything, but the only condition is: i should have taken the photo or at least have appeared in it. I have to say that I’m not photogenic, and my face in the pictures is always like: ok, take the picture; yes I’m very happy in this moment (read with sarcasm please).
For that reason, I’m going to share with you, the most beautiful (and sexy) and intimate picture of my cat 😉.

He Is tommy, he is my little baby (with my little brother), and is the most adorable cat in the world. I found it in the bus stop in a cold morning of March, and from the first moment I know that I will love him, because he was the size of my hand, so small and defenseless. From the first day he was so close to me, always stretched your tiny legs for a hug in my legs. Tommy is always finding someone that can take it in arms. 

I remember when I take this photo, he was sleeping in my bed and in a moment he wake up very angry with the world, he sit down and started wash your privates parts with your legs open, and when i open my camera,he yawned. In the exact moment. 

Postgraduates studies

 

Hi everybody, the last Friday we didn’t have class because was a free day for the students, and for this reason was a Friday without blog.
For today, I have to write a post about “postgraduates studies”, so I going to talk about pediatric dentist, because this is the specialty that I want to study when I finish odontology.

Odontopediatry is a specialty of odontology but focused in dental attention of children and adolescents. I think that be a pediatric dentist is a nice specialty because you can work with children and you can have a more interactive consult with your patient, because is really necessary be more funny for have a good session. Some children can be afraid of dentist for the pain or the sound of all our machines, and some children may become agitated or restless during of after session, so is necessary a professional that can handle all these situations with normality, and especially that will work to generate confidence in your little patients.
In our university, this specialty has duration of 4 semesters, with a cost of $8.260.000 at the year and with a additional tariff of $133.000, the coordinator is the miss Dra. Sandra Rojas Flores and the Director is Miss Dra. Sonia Echeverría. Is a postgraduate very common in Chile and is tough in many universities. This is some that I really liked, because I have little brothers and is very easy for me work with children and be more expressive and funny for them.

I would like to go abroad to study because i think that is a really good experience for know new people and new lenguages. Also i think that the best way for study is in presencial class because you can have more opinions of your classmates and you can have a more direct relation with teachers. 

About my future Job

 

Hello everyone! Today is a good day because I could finally give a test very difficult complicating me much, and they at least have finished overnight and eternal study evenings (for now). Today, I tell them about my future work, or at least the work which I hope to have.  The first thing I have to say is that since I was small I wanted to be a dentist, so I hope to work on that during my life, but not only as a general dentist, because like all my colleagues, I want to have some specialty or any diploma, in my case first to q love making is to get a specialty in pediatric dentistry. I've always liked working with children and working with them on something that I would be an ideal job for my. I'd also like to have a diploma in special needs, persons with special needs need to be dentist specialized in dealing with patients with their features. And dentists who engage in this area are very few and they are necessary, so that I'd support where more is needed, seeking always to prevent rather than treat. Also it strikes me much the social area of the health, performing interventions of promotion and prevention of oral health, since I believe that oral health is important also for the emotional well-being of each one, since it is one of the main forms that we have to show people our reaction to different situations of life.  I hope to read me the next week again! What are you really into

Hi everybody, i have to say that this is'nt my best moment in the life, because i'm really stressed, this year i have a subject for second year and is so terrible for my :( But, except for that, im alive ahaha. 

Today i have to talk about "what are you really into", and obviously that subject not. Is so complicated think about what really like me, and is more complicated one thing that is really good for me like for write about that. I think that the only thing that i do and really like me is be scout. This is my last year like beneficiary because this summer camp i have my "big travel" for be an "adult" in the movement. I met the scultism in 2004, when i'm 8 years old and from the first day y say that i want to be a Guide for the little kids. I really love the idea of be scout, we can learn about different things like camp techniques, knots and attachments, but especially we learn about how be a good person, we learn about the nature, the natural life, and is a really good experience in the life. So many importants people have been scout, like Neal Armstrong, Panchito Saavedra, Bill Gates and Paul McCartney, between others. I love be scout, because in the movement I learn to be a best person, and i think that every people can "Leave this world a little better than they found it" ; like BP says.

I really hope that every people that read this post, could change your personal opinion about scout, because the truth is that we dont seeling coockies haha

The most embarrasing situation

Hello everyone! Today will tell you them a very very very shameful situation, probably the worst of my life, and unfortunately alcohol was responsible. He passed the year 2016 (haha, as had been long ago), I was a small student of second year dentistry, inexperienced in the subject of drinking alcohol, and attending the bar during the "mechona" party, dangerous is being in charge of the open bar now that all persons you incentive to drink a certain amount for every glass deliveries. It was the first time that my boyfriend accompanied me to a party at the University, and would also be the first time I would be to sleep in his house, and unfortunately I "moved" with open bar, so I was considerably drunk 🍻😓😓 (although now I remember i dont drink so much) and I had to climb on arms in the car, when I cried it was the Queen of the car 👸  and that why I would go when I want to! Arriving at his home, he tried to lie down the more quietly as possible but I ran with each Cabinet had path to your piece, and once I managed to fall on the single bed began to laugh non-stop because he said that no one had listened to me go 🙈. The next day, it could not face the shame of leave to take breakfast, but fortunately his parents are wonderful and just laughed while they bothered me for my first binge

My best holidays

First of all, I want to apologize for spending so many days without giving signs of life but the University and many family issues I have consumed completely. But the important thing is that I'm back, and today will talk about them on my best vacations. It is difficult to think of a single summer that has been totally great to choose it as the best, because every summer has great days and days that could have been better. But at a general level, could tell that the summer 2017 is definitely among the best, because after 6 years with my boyfriend 💓(unfortunately now ex-boyfriend😢) for the first time could go on vacation far and alone, and could visit Chiloe for two weeks together, in addition to travel only a few days with his parents, also could meet his family in the South, which was very important for my. Places we met were beautiful, could also take the austral road and know many places that Panchito Saavedra😍 in his program "places that speak" (we were faithful viewers each Saturday night haha). I would consider them my best holiday mainly by the company which I had for 3 weeks getting to know so beautiful places of the South of Chile, whom I remember with joy 😌💙.

My next travel 🚀

Today the topic is about a country that I would like to visit. I think that one of my principal objectives in the life is can travel around the world and can know different countries and cultures, because we live in a world with so many varieties of people and I really want to have that possibility.  One of the first countries in my list is Spain, especially Barcelona and Madrid. Everybody say that this countries are like all the countries in Europe, but my big brother journeyed to Madrid with his girlfriend in 2013, and he say that is a city with so many history, with beautiful landscapes, and a very romantic city. In my case, I really love how Spaniards talk, I love your pronunciation, I don’t know why, but I love your Spaniard accent; And just think: know very beautiful monuments, parks, and palaces with and Spaniard, for me, sounds very attractive.  And also, i think that is a good idea start with a country with the same language before of one big travel around Europe.

My relationship with English

my relationship with  English has not been as intense as I would have liked. My first approach was at school when I was in third grade. Before that, it was apparently not so common for schools to do English classes, much less think about the first pre-school levels. Just this year i started to learn the basis of English, starting with colors, numbers, and days of the week. My little brother was two levels below me, and I remember that as we were in the same school, we began to have English as a subject at the same time, so the two of us were studying the same contents. In seventh grade, I changed to a different school, where the requirements for English classes were at least to handle the verb "to be", which obviously i did not handle perfectly, that's why I always had empty content throughout my academic life. At the University I've practiced more, but because I have forced me to read many texts in English for my academic training. I hope this semester to continue acquiring knowledge and complementing what i have learned in the previous courses which have already filled many of the empty:)

My bloggin experience

The possibility to write a blog every  Friday seemed not very entertaining and not generated me a lot of interest, But over the course of the semester I di account that talk every week about a different theme gives me a chance to think of something other than study.  It was a good opportunity to let flow the words in a subject other than the University area and in our case, the teeth. I liked the topics we touch during this semester of English, write a blog every week enables us to develop our writing in English in a way more free that being cooped up between 4 walls, listening to a teacher to talk about a topic and where many times not even shows a great interest for students (is not the case because the Professor managed to capture our attention during class, or at least the vast majority of the time) In addition, having to read the blogs of my classmates every Friday to discuss and comment on them , gave me the chance to meet them more beyond of in the field of student, since there were many things that i did not know of them. I really liked the experience of writing a weekly post on the page, and I hope that we have some similar activity that allows to express us outside the room in English 4 (:
